I questioned why there was a discrepancy between the prices for two different flavours of panadol. The assistant confirmed the items scanned at different prices but had the same 'cost' price. They said it appear they had not updated the price for the cheaper flavour and told me I would have to pay the higher price whichever I chose. Disappointing since I did them a favour by pointing it out and, in doing so, saved them money from future lost revenue. I should have kept my mouth shut! Despite it being my local chemist for many years I doubt I'll be going back. Sure it was only a couple of bucks extra, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended, lol!).
